Here's the brand-new poster for Thor: The Dark World...

It's a take on a familiar format – the collage of important faces – but it does show what an impressive cast the movie has. In the background you can also glimpse Asgard, where a significant part of the movie will take place, and various cast members, old and new, including Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, and of course, Tom Hiddleston, returning as Thor's mischievous brother Loki.

The film takes place one year after the events of The Avengers, with Thor fighting a mysterious enemy older than the universe. Confronted by this terrible entity, Thor even turns to Loki for help. If you've missed the trailer, shame on you, but you can always catch-up now:

Thor: The Dark World is out in the UK on October 30th, Australia on October 31st, and in the US on November 8th.
